The Glancetron 8031 is a POS keyboard in modern design with 105 programmable keys. You equip these flexibly with single, double and quadruple keys according to your needs. Most applications also make use of the already preconfigured numeric keypad (keys 0-9, comma and 00) with laser printed keys. Original key switches from Cherry ensure extremely comfortable operation with a defined click pressure point and a very long life expectancy even in harsh environments.
The Glancetron 8031 is easily connected to the PC via keyboard wedge or serial connection. The entire range of functions is programmed conveniently at the PC with an included software application.
Optionally we offer 8031 with an integrated 3-track magnetic stripe reader for EC, credit and customer cards. Data from the card reader is sent to the host as keyboard wedge or RS232 signals. As an additional feature, a user lock for installation on the right side of the keyboard is optionally available. For each level, you set the key as active or inactive in the software. For example, a special key at the POS station for cancel is programmed so that this starts to transmit only in levels four, five and six, however not level one, two and three.
Included in the scope of delivery is a complete keyset (8x4, 20x2, 80x1 packs, 1x numeric block). For an extensive assignment of the Glancetron POS keyboards we will additionally deliver you special key caps that you assign like system building blocks to the keyboard matrix. As simple (1x1), double (1x2) and quadruple (2x2) settings, you assign and individually label them on the keyboard according to your needs.
