The PLANET NVR-420 is designed for small scale surveillance applications such as home, SOHO, SMB and retail stores. It can connect up to 4 IP cameras via a network and perform recordings and playbacks pictures from cameras in the system.
The NVR-420 provides user-friendly management interface enabling users to remotely operate the NVR, view live monitoring videos and play back the recorded videos via a web browser in the computer or any mobile devices.
The NVR system is also expandable for multi-sites management with the bundled CMS software. For instance, the CMS software in the NVR-420 can manage up to 64 units of NVRs at the same time; that means, there shall be 256 channels of IP cameras being viewed simultaneously. With multi-monitor and E-Map function, the NVR-420 can help the administrators to monitor the surveillance system more efficiently and effectively.
The NVR-420 supports HDMI interface that allows users to connect it directly to a HDMI capable HDTV / monitor. It then can be operated with the bundled remote control and mouse. The NVR-420 is compatible with most major camera brands in the market. It can automatically search and find the available cameras on the network, which greatly reduce the user's effort when configuring the system.
The NVR-420 can be controlled and monitored on both the local site and the Internet simultaneously. Users can also login from their mobile phones to check the monitoring screen when there is no PC available. It provides an easy and effective way to manage your surveillance system and enhance the security of your home or office environment.
