The Promise FastTrak SAS/SATA RAID PCI Express adapter offers an economical solution and SPAN storage system with up to eight high-performance SAS or SATA disk drives. In addition to the supported RAID features, FastTrak TX4660/TX8660 also supports SAS(Non-RAID) mode for general storage application without
RAID.
Single Hardware & Software for RAID and Non-RAID
The FastTrak TX4660/TX8660 offers single hardware and software for both RAID and Non-RAID storage applications, one system integration and qualification effort plus rich operating system support for various storage applications in the field.

Advanced Features
The FastTrak PCI Express controller incorporates many of Promise Technology's advanced features. The onboard BIOS automatically identifies and configures drive type.
The Web-based Promise Array Management (WebPAM) software provides users easy installation, configuration and operation. Promise’s Metadata on Disk, simplifies disaster recovery efforts, by enabling migration to replacement hardware. |
